new guy with motorola droid....???

I just got the droid a few days ago. Much better than my last phone (voyager)

2 quick questions.....

i'm with verizon so is my droid cdma or gsm ???

and why cant i turn the droid off when its charging? it just turns
itself back on...???

It is CDMA.

Check to see if the "stay awake" setting is turned on. From the home screen go to menu>settings>applications>development. Uncheck it if it's checked.

thx....i unchecked it and the phone now certainly sleeps while charging.

but i was wondering why i can't turn the phone of completely while charging.....
