new droid x, quick question

so i just got rid of my incredible and picked up an x, couldnt be happier. i can actually hear people when i talk to them and its been 12 hours since off the charger and i still have half battery life. anywho, is there anyway to force stop on certain apps/programs? i went under settings and manage applications, but its only showing the ones i downloaded vs all of them like on my dinc. thanks.

Hit the menu button when you are in the programs tab and go to filter and choose running.
