finally migrating from my palm desktop/pre
prompted by rumors of discontinued unlimited data
i've re-upped with verizon for 2 yrs with a droid razor maxx
while i'm loving a gps that actually works and a bazillion apps
it's sort of tragic, as palm did so many things well on the PIM front before blowing up
in the midst of the painful migration from palm desktop to android (imported to outlook, then to gmail contacts and syn'd with phone)
having trouble viewing contacts (1300) on the phone:
1. when i view my contacts by group, i can't figure out how to sort by last name (figured it out for all contacts view)
2. i have a number of contacts with a company name only that just don't show up on the phone (some do)
3. a few contacts are showing up in the wrong group (i.e. in the correct group with google contacts, but different group on the phone)
any help would be appreciated, starting with the appropriate forum for questions like these
tech issues, droid applications, droid razr maxx?
