I really want feedback from the Forum community. I'm trying to bring out some new animations that really get a wow or at the very least satisfy what people really are looking for to enjoy while the phone is booting up .

Keep in mind I can't bring our new stuff that you want if you don't share what that is as much as I'd love to play psychic mind reader I really can't so share your thoughts with me.
I want to know WHAT boot animations do you want to see?

I'll be awaiting your Criticisms and Compliments.

    VERY IMPORTANT::icon_exclaim:

After downloading, for users that are not already familiar with this you will need to make sure that you rename the boot animation when ready to use to the name
bootanimation.zip exactly as I have it spelled there and I do believe that it is case sensitive.

Also, if you are a newly rooted user or are not sure how to replace this I recommend using
root explorer - and then follow these steps:

    1.Rename file xyz.zip to bootanimation.zip

    2.Copy or Move File

    3.Go to System/Media
Note: (to avoid having to backup the one you are using now you can place in date/local directory instead of system and when you want your old one back all you have to do is delete this one)

    4.Select Read/Write setting

5.Paste and click OK to overwrite(possibly copy this to another directory for a backup or simply rename to .bak before overwriting/pasting or you will lose the bootanimation already in your phone)

6.Long press to generate menu and select permissions

7.Select rw-r-r or use all permissions

    8.Select Read/Only setting

    9.Reboot and Enjoy:yahoo:

    Another option is to:

put the bootanimation.zip, using terminal into data/local ...
    typing command:

    #su
    #cp /sdcard/bootanimation.zip /data/local/

Keep the spaces it won't work without them also do not type the # symbols
    # = superuser privileges
$ = no super user privileges

 Thank You everyone for your continued support. :):yr1:

I think it is a great effort and LOVE the part in the middle. atleast what seems to be the middle anyway, which would be the "LIQUID" over the ocean with the sun. However I doubt feel the other two images flow as nicely together. When i say flow together I mean the over all flow, not smoothness of animation.

And I have understood the X being used for the boot ani because Id assume most of us own D1's.

But if you were to release that one part alone or find something that flows a little smoother.

    Great Work none the less

    Keep it up

Nice. I think a waterfall or single drops of water and the ripples they produce would also be ideas for a "liquid" themed boot.

I suggest that the words over the ocean be the entire animation, with it alternating Liquid and Gingerbread.

That part of the anim is *sick*

The 3 different scenes... seem like just that, 3 different scenes. perhaps more of a transition instead of just one thing, then BAM, the next thing. I'm also not fond of having Liquid splashed in my face whenever I boot my phone. I loved LFY and I love LGB, and whenever I think of my phone I think liquid, but having the name plastered on stuff just doesnt do it for me. Otherwise, very nice animation. its very smooth and all of the animation is done very well.

The Liquid is awesome just by looking at the image above...
The rest is cool, but the Liquid Hovering is just plan azz sick....
I vote take just that part out and have it loop...
    D/l it now...

LG you need to start making us some Live Wallpapers, I would ROCK the Hovering Liquid as a LW...

I like the first scene but could do without the last two. I agree with the other post that something about Gingerbread would be good. (Basically, I'm not sure what the X has to do with Liquid or Gingerbread or the Droid 1 really)
