Everytime I plug my phone into my new win7 laptop it keeps saying driver installation failed.. is this because I refuse to install the vCast manager?

And is there anyway to get the correct drivers without vcast/moto connect constantly running on my computer?

yes download and install moto driver USB and PC Charging Drivers - Motorola, Inc. USA

just installed that and replugged the phone in and it went through the driver installation process and mtb usb device failed

attempted to install vcast software but it only works on 32bit computers
