Netflix issue

    Having an issue with netflix. I can log in fine but when i try to watch something I get a network error. Log out log back in then it works but if I try to watch the next episode of something it gives me the network error again. I know I shouldn't say this but I never had the problem on my Iphone. Any suggestions?

    Try a hard reset (take the battery out).
    If that doesnt work, try re-installing NetFlix...maybe something got corrupted during the download?

    Tried the reset and the reinstall and it did the same thing. I'm thinking that it may be an issue with the wireless at work. HBO and MAX go work without a problem. I'll keep try it again at home and see if it may be the work wifi causing it.

    Edit: Using 4G I get better resolution than wifi(still have unlimited data). Playback isn't choppy like on wifi.

    Yeah, it definitely sounds like an issue with the WiFi network you were using.

    Verified the issue is with the wifi at work. Damn glad I stuck with unlimited data:icon_ lala:

    Lol, good to hear you are back to using the device as you want! That being said, go complain to your IT guy that you cant watch netflix...I just want to make sure that other IT guys get aneurysms as much as I do.

    Has there been any word on when Netflix HD will be available without rooting? I assume they are working on it. As far as i have heard the only phone that allows Netflix HD is the Razr and it doesn't even have an HD screen. Something about the Motorola chips. Any info would be appreciated?

    I am in IT, too much of a hassle to deal with that.

    war, exactly my point...I have users come to me to complain that their thin clients wont stream pandora, to which i reply "how does pandora contribute to your ability to do your job?" then i fall on the floor and twitch for a few minutes.
