Neither the YouTube nor Amazon MP3 apps are working, what gives?

It started last night. Granted youtube has always sucked regardless of having strong wifi and good 4G. All I get is a spinning circle, when I press the back button nothing happens, and after pressing home 5 times it gives me the option to force close or wait. DANDY

Same with Amazon MP3. Loading symbol, no service. I went to manage applications and force closed them, cleared cache, restarted my phone....all to no avail. Why is this phone having more issues than my 2 year old samsung?

Have you tried clearing data /cache on these apps? Having issues with any other apps?

I will add I had a friend of a friend thati fixed the YouTube issue a while ago by clearing data/cache.

First try rebooting the phone.

Yes. It might have been from the process stated above or simply from restarting the device...

However, YouTube still takes forever to load on 4G, pretty disappointing.
