Need to fix tone button issue

One of my Droid X2's works and the other doesn't. I did the *228 to update the roaming capability's and one X2 won't successfully send the proper tone when I hit the oprion 2... It has something to do with the tone or length of the tone. Anyone????
I know its somewhere in settings.

*228 activates the phone on the network. Do you have two lines? You can't activate two phones on one line.

Not trying to activate 2 phone. There are tones when dialing a phone number. After connecting no tones. Cant get to voicemail, select any option once we reach a phone number called.

Called Page Plus and they instructed me to turn off the phone. Five minutes later they did something on their end and it works now!
