I'm an Assistive Technology Specialist here in the lovely state of Alaska.(I help folks with disabilities such as motor issues, blind / low vision, deaf / hard of hearing, learning disabilities, etc.)

I'm the sole 'droid person in the office :icon_ devil:and we are starting to get more and more clients in that use them and so I'm looking to find comparable apps on the 'droid to ones that we use with our clients...

At the moment, I'm working with a gentlemen is profoundly deaf but is interested in using something similar to "SoundNote" or "Notability". He plans to use it as assistive communication. He likes the option of being able to either handwrite or type the information, and also record for playback to a co-worker or his wife if further clarification is needed. He does not sign, and his primary form of receiving communication is lip-reading, he does speak, but it can be difficult to understand him.

Any suggestions? (And MANY thanks in advance!!)

So you're looking for an app that can handle handwriting and then decipher the message and output audio? Lemme see what I can find. Meanwhile, let me bring some more viewers in.

Re: Options needed

Basically - but it doesn't have to decipher the handwriting... (although that would be a bonus!)

He wants the ability to either type or write a message between him and customer. The ability to record the conversation is nice, because if he's got questions later, he can ask a co-worker about it and play it for them purely for clarifying - like if he missed a number or something in the code.

Thanks for your help!
