No way to store apps on the SD card, yet....

If you root, you can delete some of the crap apps, otherwise, you'll just have to be more selective.

How the heck have you filled your internal memory with apps?

I'm in the same position! I have a ton of stuff that I use. The only way I can cope with it, is by installing Koush's cyanogenmod rom. It will give you 40 mb more of space.

It's easy to do if you load Google Maps, Home Run Battle and Google Earth. The app size will continue to rise as time goes on. Just a natural progression in this world. 10MB for a Hard Drive used to be more than anyone could use.

I've got all the apps on my phone I need for entertainment, productivity, and show-off-ness, and I still have 100mb free.

    You guys are nuts.

Same here, I have around 114 installed apps, around 94 MB free.

Alright guys lets not turn this into how did you get to that much. There are some of us who have this problem, including me. Lets instead think of how to get more space.

    Delete apps?

That answer, despite how unhappy it might make people, is the only solution to app storage problems. I think some of us are just impressed that people have that much stuff installed on their phones.

Ya I'm kinda thinking that is the only way. Personally its not that much of a problem for me because I installed cyanogenrom which gave me 40mb more. But still... its annoying to have to delete your apps. I can't wait till Apps2Sd is ported even though I'll have to buy a class 6 card.

    ^^ lol

Yeah, I'd say backup with Titanium backup, then delete what you don't need all the time. Then you can just reinstall with data from Titanium on a per-needed basis, like you never erased it.

That's probably the only way for now though...

Yeah, I think the simplest solution is just back-up to the SD card and uninstall. A nuisance, but only takes about 30 seconds to to re-install from back-up. I use Astro file manager, which is free.
