Well tonight i finally tried to load a custom rom. Well i loaded the 1st one just fine and everything seemed to go ok. But i wanted to check another one out. Well i loaded it and all then i guess it just got stuck in bootloop? the White M would just come out for 5-10 seconds then reboot. Well i went into recovery mood or whatever. Tired a couple thing and nothing worked....Sooo i did a factory reset. Probably a stupid thing to do but i thought it would be fine since i had everything saved and all. But now my phone wont even turn on. I tried a different battery and plugged it into the charger. And nothing. Did a really F up by doing that? Anything i can do to try to fix it. Thank for the help in advance

did you not make any nandroid backups like you always should? did you have a low battery when you did all this? and can you get into your recovery (power up nd hold x)

SBF to root and unroot in my sig will get you back to stock..

I backed up up all my stuff with with titanium backup. I also copied my SD card and saved it to my PC. But no the battery was charged. Even tried a different battery. But the weird part. And the part that worries me is the phone wont do anything at all. I try to turn it on and it wont do anything. I try to charge it and it doesnt light up up anything. So im not sure what i did. Maybe I fried it.

Plug it into a wall charger for a few hours. What method are you using to install these roms? Rom manager? As Abe said, you should have done a nandroid backup in recovery. It doesn't sound like you did this.

    Corinacakes is 100% right.

    1. Plug it into a wall charger. Let it charge for a while (2-4 hrs).
    2. Turn it on while holding down X key
    3. Restore from nandroid backup

I suspect it wasn't really fully charged, and you flashed something with a kernel that didn't love your phone.

You're fine. Just offline for a bit.

    Regards,

    E

Thanks for the help guys. But Iv let it charge all night and its still not coming on. It doesn't light up or anything. Very weird. I used Rom manager. Dont believe I made nandroid backup. I just followed some guide on here. Which worked good on my 1st attempt. But the 2nd time around didnt work lol. But if the phone doesn't turn on or anything i guess there is no way to try to fix it.

This really sound like a bad coincidence. It might have fried, but I doubt anything you did made it happen. If there's nothing you can do to get it to boot or anything you might be able to get it replaced under warranty.

Well it stinks. I waited so long because I was scared something like this might happen. But oh well. Next time I will have to do a better job.

    Here's something to try...

    1. Unplug
    2. Pull battery
    3. Plug into wall outlet (not PC USB port)
    4. Put battery in
    5. WAIT one whole entire minute (60 seconds)
    6. Hold down power button and see if it boots

    Yes?

Another good suggestion is to purchase an external battery charger.

1). Charge the battery all the way
    2). Insert the battery
    3). Open the keyboard
    4). Press and hold X
5). Press the power button for a few seconds (5-ish) and let go (while still holding X)
    6). Don't let go of X
    7). Seriously, don't let go of X

The recovery console SHOULD come up. Does it? If not, you may need to resort to an SBF flash.
