Hi, my mom has a tablet running android 4.0 and wanted to make it read out stuff to my dad who cannot read well, but I can only get it to read out the test sentence in the settings. The engine is the stock PICO engine. Can someone suggest how to make it work, what you have to do to make it read stuff off the screen like you can do in windows 7. Or do I need to find a different TTS engine? Or worse, is the stuff in windows 7 impossible to do in android? Simply put, the goal is to highlight text on screen and then have it read aloud. Please help and thanks in advance for replies.
