I created a boot animation. 320x530 for the evo, and would like it to fun at 10 fps. I edited the desc.txt file, but all i get is a black and it doesnt get triggered. and help would be amazing.

When you zip up your files, you have to do so without compression. Use 7-zip or Winzip and use the 'Store' compression level.

Edit: It looks like you have MAC? Use p7zip, available on 7-zip's download site. In Windows, the command to archive uncompressed using 7-zip command-line version would be:

    7za a -mx0 <path>\bootanimation.zip <path>\filen.ame

That file you just uploaded had the files within a "bootanimation" subdirectory. They need to be in root of archive.

I think your desc.txt should be:
    320 530 10
    p 1 0 part0

Any number there indicates how many frames of delay before the next part, of which you have none.

Also, there's that '.DS_Store' file which isn't normally there. I don't know, but extra files might interfere? I remember seeing that when I tried using StuffIt. I think I couldn't get rid of that file. heh

Ahh, wish I had known, that was years ago. If you need it, http://forums.macnn.com/82/applications/225600/stuffit-deluxe-removing-ds_store-from-archives/
