Make sure it is the SE version of java. And make certain you don't have any other versions installed on your computer. If you do, remove them all and install the correct one. Should work then...

You have to set your path....

Google it. I don't remember off hand, but that's how I found it.

K, first thing here. ADB has nothing to do with this. You should be doing this through a command prompt. By path, I believe he is meaning environment path for java. Also where are you typing the command for java? Is it at C:\ or something more? Also where did you save colorchangev3.jar to?

in environmental path, i changed the 1st one that said path (vid i watched said change path, not one specifically for java,is this the other one kookahdoo is talking about?). bc i thought this had something to do with adb, i was typing it at C:\Android\tools. That's also where the colorchangev3.jar is. the theme.zip is on desktop

i just tried the command at C:\ and it said "java is not recognized has an internal or external command"

You need to place colorchangev3 directly into your C: drive.

just moved it. And what exactly to add to path for java? my version is 1.6.0_21.

and lmao i only needed adb at the beginning of this process to pull framework-res.apk & services.jar (although i used root explorer)
