Need help removing preinstalled apps

I rooted using Gingerbreak, running 2.2.2. I've tried titanium backup and it runs into an error on the reboot into recovery. Cannot find apk or file doesn't exist? Anyone figured this out?

Never mind. Found an app on the market called "system apk manager". Seems to have done the trick. Its free, root required of course.

If you want to keep the apps in case you need to update or take your phone back to Verizon for warranty, Bloat Freezer is a good one.
