Does anyone know of a free app. That lets me search through contacts by area? For example, i open this app and search "Columbus" or "Ohio", and it would bring up all contacts from that area?

There is a program I use called Cards (-) PIM. Its a completely customizable standaone contact app. If you add an address field that has Oh, or Ca or a city name or whatever, you can search within the app to find all the contacts that contain that city or state. It takes a bit of work to setup, although there is an import function I haven't tried. It really is quite useful. Check it out.
