This is probably really stupid to ask but I am new and could not find the answer anywhere!
I'm writing my first simple app for a class I am taking. When I was working on the layout (main.xml) and I went to run it, I accidentally ran that file, rather than the project. As a result main.out.xml is created. This also causes an error within my project pointing at this file. When I delete this file the error remains but I cannot find what's wrong. I know it is probably something simple but this is happened to me twice and I would rather just get the right answer from someone experienced and not be frustrated for the rest of the day
