NEED HELP Broken Droid!!!!!!!!!

I got a Droid a855, and the screen was broken. I couldn't take it to verizon because I bought it from a friend, and he didn't have insurance on it. So I bought a replacement screen for it and when I opened it to fix the screen, the cable that makes the buttons to work, broke. I have been looking online for a replacement and couldn't find anything. Can someone please help me out?

Your best bet is to probably buy a parts/"as-is" phone on ebay.
