need help badly

Hey i been trying to become the root use on my motorola droid 1. i tried all the ways they show on youtube but i notice that all them are using droids with the 2.1 firmware mines already at 2.2 so is that problem? i even tried installing the 2.2 from bugless but it didnt work either if anyone got suggestions please let me know

Use universal androot or easy root and they should work, then you can install bugless beast.

I would highly suggest NOT using an easy Root method and using RSD lite and flash the SBF to get SPR recovery, I will post a link first chance I get, the easy Root methods are more problematic than anything

My Droid was updated to FRG22D unrooted, and I rooted using this method. No problems.

Where are you getting information it doesn't work on 2.2?

when i connect my phone it still doesnt show up in the device properties

This sounds like a Driver Problem, make sure they are installed

Anymore trouble shooting should probably take place in the thread link that was supplied...as you will gain more support there
