Need city Id for upgrade

Rooted my phone and deleted city Id, I did not back it up now what can I do?

reinstall it with root explorer (or ADB, but RE is simpler)

i linked u to the .604 update which was the last update before 2.2

did you give it the right permissions? make sure they match all other system apps

City id is working but can't get the droid upgrade to work. I think i have all the stock programs back on but not sure, what should i do?

if u cant find what u still need, id say use the 2.1 sbf over at rootz wiki to start fresh

Before I knew anything I jumped in and deleted some bloatware with Titanium Backup. I found the apk's at the chadhanley link that Abe provided for you. I installed the apk's through Root Explorer and fixed permissions just as explained in the directions I found. The 2.2 OTA still would not go through.

I didn't do an SBF I called warranty and they sent a new one. But what I know now, an SBF would have been easier. Plus you gotta watch what you say to warranty. So I would read up on an SBF. Make sure it is for your 2.1 version.

Okay guys so I have a ex rooted and I deleted city id.

Could not install 2.2.34 so I reinstalled, thanks.

Now still the same issue cannot install the update. Iv tried reading up these forums but I am new to ex and need some attention.

Please help.

Also, is this update worth it or should I wait for gingerbread?
