i rooted my phone and flashed back to the 1.5 firmware. im still rooted, but i want to flash a new rom. but since my firmware is so old, i can not install rom manager. is it possible to install a new rom without rom manager? if so, what would a good rom be with a link?
thanks

Im not much of a expert but have you saved your old roms or any Backups with a rom downloaded or 2.1+ Version? If so, load that backup and start from there.

Reboot into recovery and reload your backup. And yes you can download ROMS without ROM manager. Use your computer and connect your phone to it. Place the ROM on the root directory of your SD card (SD/) then go into recovery and install it from there. Check the stickies for detailed info on how to do it. Good luck!
