Now that the NBA has kicked off the new season, I figured we should get a thread going for NBA fans on the forum.

I normally don’t get that interested in NBA until Late December since football is winding down, but this year with all the trades I’m actually excited it’s back on.

Go Mavs!

Go Cavs! Kyrie who?

The Cavs are loaded with talent this year. I like Kyrie, but getting D. Wade, D. Rose, I. Thomas, J. Crowder was a steal! I was bummed to see Gordon Hayward get hurt the first game,

That was hard to watch. I love(d) Kyrie. I never buy shirts with players names on them. Liked him so much I asked for an Irving shirt for Father's day. A month later he wants to leave. #NeverAgain

Let's go Cavs !!

Gonna enjoy watching the West beat themselves up while the Cavs lie in wait for whichever team comes out of the West.

Things I'm looking forward to this year

1) Alonzo Ball not living up to the Father's hype

2) Boston not making the playoffs

3) OKC taking out the Warriors in the playoffs

1. I want to see D. Smith Jr win Rookie of the Year, so I hope Ball is a flop.

2. Boston is going to have it tough year!

3. Westbrook is an absolute beast on both ends of the court. He might be one of the funnest guys in the NBA to watch.

man oh man - this year has been just a total disaster for the Mavericks. It's hard to even watch a game with a 1-10 record :(

1. I'm shocked to see Boston rocking the east and claiming the #1 spot.
2. Kinda funny the Cavs are in 12th, I thought they would be unstoppable.
3. Shocked to see OKC sucking so bad.
4. Glad to see Houston on top in the west instead of GS!

me just sayin

I can't believe how bad the Cavs are right now. Of course it could change, but it's hard to watch now.

Basketball is like Baseball in I don't start worrying about the standings until after the All-Star break.

The Heat went through a similar slump where they fired their coach and ended up winning it all.

I agree there are way to many games in the NBA season. I thought the year they had the lock out and games began in December was perfect.

tend to agree. I usually do not even pay attention until after the all star game. the year of the lock out made it more real and not long and drawn out

bumping this thread to find out how your teams are doing. the local nba team is not doing so well - Grizzles finally snapped their 11 game losing streak. and they started so good.

Cavs turned it around on a current 13 game win streak thing the franchise record. Derrick Rose got hurt in a game and they haven't lost since. I'm thinking Rose should be cut!
Also agree there are too many games (in MLB, too).
