I am running RC4 from Winner and the latest Deprimed Kernel and i am getting reboots every time i use navigation. does anyone else have this issue?

    Config:
    Winner CM7 RC4
    Deprimed #33
    SD Card Speed Hack
ADW set to priority of 0
    current memory settings 2048, 3072, 6144, 7168, 8192, 8192 or 8, 12, 24, 28, 32, 32 which i think is stock (set by a script written by Zep).

    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Ed

My nav force closed on me last night with latest cyanogen + deprimed + bumblebee gov. Almost made me miss a turn, which normally isn't a big deal (just turn around and youre back on track)
However, a friend of mine was following me and I assured him to have faith in me and my gadgetry. I explained that even though I had no clue where I was going, I would get us there safely and promptly. My god... why have you forsaken me!

^Damn same thing happened to me. I think all electronic devices have that hard coded in somewhere. Works perfect when your by yourself but when you start bragging about how good it works screws up every time.

Normal is the profile governor could be on demand or bumblebee. I had this issue with bumblebee? Bumblebee worked fine with latest winner

I'm also running CM7 RC4, the newest deprimed kernel and my Google Maps force closes any time I try to start navigation somewhere.

I have tried Interactive, On Demand, and Bumblebee governors with the same results.

I have had hot reboots with navigation on a few GB ROMs ... if I need to use it I restore a Froyo backup.

You could also try primed instead of deprimed kernel.. just a thought.

I'll bet this has to do with the 3g issues more than anything else.

I've had this happen the last couple times I've used navigation. Seems like about 10-15 minutes into using the nav, I'll look down and my phone will be rebooting - very strange.

Is this the rom or possibly the kernel?

Same thing happens to me with car dock, navigation, CM 6.1.2, and CM 7 RC4. I'm using Chevyno1's latest 1.2 ghz lv kernel with both.

Another issue with maps that I'm having lately, is it just closes on me when I'm performing a search. Basically, I open up maps, click in the search box, start typing (the progress circle starts spinning), and then my phone will go back to my homescreen (no FC). Also, today while doing the same type of search, my phone completely froze and I had to pull the battery. What's causing this? It reminds me of when I was having my music app killed off by gingerbread...

Edit: It seems to only do this if I type an address quickly. If I wait and let the progress circle stop spinning as I type, it doesn't seem to close. Strange?

    Sorry Prime, what's logcat?

Edit: Nevermind, I see it's a terminal command. It seems to be constantly updating as I'm looking at it. What do you want me to do with it?
