    Hey

What are the advantages/disadvantages to each when flashing roms?

It seems like update.zip should be the obvious choice... just put it in the root directory, reboot, and install. And all your data is still there.

Whereas nandroid requires backup, restore, data loss, and all those goodies.

So why go the nandroid route and not the update.zip route?

depends on what your coming from. stock with root you can use update zip and youll keep all your apps and info. another rom you should use nanodroid and wipe to have a fresh start. less buggy that way

Ya... I'm stock. No root yet.
So easiest/suggested way is to use the update.zip?

(Or at this point the sholes app from the market/site?)
