I recently had to use nandroid to unbrick my Droid and noticed an unexpected side effect: All of my contacts' unique ringtones were reset to default! Obviously I will need to reset them, and this will take a long time. How can I keep this from happening next time I use nandroid to backup my phone?

Did you wipe data and cache before restoring your backup?

-I'm not sure. I know what you're talking about, I've just bricked/unbricked my phone too many times in the last 24 hours working overclock kernels to remember clearly. I know I wiped cache, not sure if I wiped both. I do check all the boxes when I backup/restore. Speaking of which, what box do I check to backup all my contact info when performing a nandroid backup?

p.s. Later last night I started re-assigning ringtones and while some that had assignments did not, most now DID! Could it be possible that sinc'ng gmail may have fixed things?
