I'm a noob, so be gentle... I downloaded the file. Now what do I do with it? I've got a Droid w/ stock 2.1. If I rename the file to update.zip and place it in /sdcard, can I just boot into recovery and install it? If not, how do I install it? hypatia

Ok, so I thought I posted to this thread earlier today but it looks like it didn't take for some reason. If I have two posts in a row with the same question, just ignore one of them.

Ikithme, if I understand you correctly, this Nandroid backup should allow me to go from 2.0.1 to 2.1 (I am rooted, have nandroid, etc.), and will allow me to remain rooted and will not mess up the nandroid recovery system, right?

Also, when you say to select everything in Nandroid, are you referring to ROOT, CACHE, SYSTEM, and the other things in the list? Is it necessary to do all of these?
