mysterious memory usage

Ok. I'm running gingerbread (gpa15) and I tried running plants vs zombies on my phone (og droid) of cource it didn't work so I uninstalled it. But for some reason I think it left something behind cause I have less memory than when I started.

I'm anal about the ammount of storage I have and can't for the life of me find where I've suddenly picked up about 14 mb of memory. Cleared as many caches as I can find. Internal memory widget says I have 167mb out of 251mb used while Applications says I have about 157mb. I don't think internal is wrong, and I really do not wanna switch it out. But if I have to can someone give a recommendation?

You'd need to look into what's using your internal storage. People always seem to overlook data. Data for your apps also uses internal storage. There are apps to look at your internal storage use. I don't have names or links handy though.
