This looks like a really cool idea. I might have jumped at the Early Bird price.
Talk about doing something different with a SmartWatch?!?

Won't ship until JANUARY though.

Killer concept.

ReVault is a new type of storage that gives you the smartness and convenience of the public cloud, and the security of local storage. Store your files locally on ReVault and always access them at the speed of a local network.

ReVault connects to your devices using WiFi and Bluetooth. You can setup your ReVault to auto-backup and auto-synchronize your files across your devices. ReVault is wearable so that you can easily carry your files wherever you go at all times.

Well...I can definitely see the draw of this for the syncing, even if my phone can hold more data than that. I only watched the video, but I'm wondering if it ALSO backs up to the actual cloud or anything. Sure would suck to have EVERYTHING you might want or need access to on your wrist, just to have it get lost, stolen, broken, or simply fail...

If I opt for a smartwatch, it's got to do more than just store data...

Does notifications too. There's a reason it almost hit goal in 2 days.
Not serious about it being my next but I love the idea behind it.

Android Wear does work on IOS devices. Download Android Wear for IOS from the Play store. Install that on an AW watch. Then install BLE Utility from Apple App store.

Yea and it's buggy. It needs to be baked in.

No problem here on both my Asus Zenwatch and LG Urbane.... with the only exception that I can't reply to email and text from the watch.

I am not clear about the concept. I understand that I would be able to access to my files from watch. But what about my Laptop? Is there any option to access my vault from laptop?
I am thinking about having a modular smart watch. Is this ReVault smart watch would be better than modular smart watch?
