My Moms blackberry finally went to hell and burned

    My moms blackberry :blackberry: finally crapped out and wont charge anymore and despriatly needs a knew phone. What is everyones advice for a small business owner who depends on their phone day and night and is always worried about battery life ... I My self am a android junkie dancedroid but i feel as if she will be angry about battery life, not understanding with such power takes sacrifice. thank you , if anyone can help that would be great

    If battery life is the primary concern then a Blackberry would be a better choice. After all, having a phone you have to plug in every single night is a travesty! :)

    Exactly. She'll be used to the form factor and the extended battery will certainly help with any woes. :)

    But yeah, if battery life is paramount then an Android phone comes in second place to anything RIM puts out.

    Pro's a nice phone. I think she'll like it, especially with a sharp cookie Android expert for a son helping her out. ;)

    I vote pro with an extend battery, though my x gets amazing battery life she may not like not having a keyboard. If you take some time to search google I recall seeing an app that comes with a free credit card reader for business use. Seemed pretty cool

    What is so hard about the concept of purchasing an extra battery and a charger?

    blackberry technology is 20the Centrury. Droid is for this century.
