My Instagram videos will not record.

This may belong in the DROID X2 forums,but maybe someone else used to have this phone..

So check this out, my android version is 2.3.5 rooted.
system version 1.3.418

Here's my thing:
My droid X 2 does not get the option to Record videos in instagram.. only take pics. All my friends with their different phones can record videos.
I love my droidx2 its so insane, it's amazing honestly. love it.

my instagram version is: 4.1.2

PS: When the heck are they going to patch in emojis so I can flirt with girls? (dont answer this, i have some sort of cracked emoji thing alrdy)

Since you're rooted you could try finding an ICS rom
