My Droid X Sound is bad

I just got a new droid x because my old one broke and the sound on my new one is so staticy on the stereo speaker but with headphones they're great

I called Verizon abt that same problem. Turn your phone off take out the battery, leave it out for 10 seconds, put battery back in and power ur phone back on and that should correct the problem. It worked for me.
