all apps downloaded (and paid for) from the market should be re-downloaded after a reset. Any apps downloaded outside of the market (warez sites) will not be re-downloaded (even if they are avail on the market)

droid screen is made from something called gorilla glass. its very durable

Open Astro, hit menu, hit tools, hit application manager/backup. Pretty self explanatory from there.
