lol what i thought exactly..
I had the same problems some people have complained about. I had mine shutdown many times during the day and I had to pull the battery to get it to turn on. I took mine back to the store, at first they said they had to be able to duplicate the problem, but they eventually exchanged it. The odd thing was when they were transferring my contacts, the guy said I had over 1100, NO WAY those are mine I said. I took a look and I didn't any of them. I have no idea who the contacts were, but I can say they were local to my location. The new phone is working great!!
yeah their is a new glitches here and there but the phone is brand new and they have already announced the software update. You got to remember each new hyped phone that came out, each had issues and with my memory (not being the best), they had alot more issues then the droid. I am very very pleased with the phone, I am coming from blackberry phones which I have used for the past 3 years.
Same problem. about three times now. Like they say. first run phone, bound to be problems.
Same problem here, too. Once was in the middle of a call.
I've had the occasional screen freeze too.
Could this be happening because of too many applications open? I have downloaded an apps killer to extend battery life. Maybe too many apps open? Just a thought.
Best Buy did an exchange for me, no questions asked. It wasn't related to this problem, but just thought it might be helpful if you bought yours at Best Buy.
Call me fortunate because my DROID has been nothing but anj absolute pleasure from the moment I first powered it up (crosses fingers).
ive had the same issues since i started it up. im taking it in tomorrow for an exchange cause it crashed/froze again today too when my friend tried to wake it up. it went fuzzyscreened. no bueno. =[
Mine did that too... But mine was cuz my battery was low. as soon as I pluged it it powered right up.
Well I guess being the phones are made in China I am not suprised of all the problems reported so far on some of the phones.
My phone also died after a few days only I couldn't get the battery door open. I took it to the VZW store and they replaced the battery door. Once the battery was taken out it started right away. My previous phone was a work horse, the Treo 650, and on occasion the samething would happen. Nothing is crash proof!
