Seeing the thread on the dock hack made me want to make my own decent looking lego dock. Didn't want to spend $30 on the motorola one once I found out I could easily make it myself. So here are some pictures. It works great and looks great too, at least I think so. Let me know what you all think of it.

I used a small magnet I had from a magnetic dart set I had. Used the good ol' dremel to make a hole in the lego piece to hold this magnet. Used super glue to hold the usb micro in place. Then I added the "droid eye" on top. I know it's orange, but I didn't have a red piece.

How about a "How-To" showing which pieces and how many of each one are needed? Its really cool and I'd really like to build one of these myself!!

    That is too cool

    Kudos, buddy.

    Ingenious.:)

I already bought the dock, but I may make one out of some exotic wood I have in my garage. You have inspired me.

    Heres mine:

I didnt use any instructions. Thats the best part about building it with legos; trial and error.
Also whats great is that I can have my case on it at all times too!

Its not truly made out of legos until the dock itself is mainly made out of white bricks with a whole bunch of yellow, red, and green ones mixed in as well :) but that's just my O2.

Lego's actually got me into the gifted program way back in elementary school.
