My Backup Pro - Restoring Contacts Question

Hey guys I am trying to restore my contacts after updating and I had about 300 contacts backed up in the app. When I go to restore them it says there are like 3.5 thousand contacts so I let it run through and then like all are just unknown, which is weird.

Not picking on you, OP, but just a question in general, is there something better with a program like this over just syncing them w/ Google? I have had great luck w/ google backup, but didn't know if I was missing something with a 3rd party program.

Yea I use this as a backup if that doesn't work. I just tried to sync google and it deleted 50% of my contacts on the site and I dunno why. This sucks.
