So i'm one of hte suckers that paid $50 bucks for something you can download a simulation app for in the market. But whatever, I enjoy it charging and being a nice new alarm clock.

However, i have one issue, the first two days i used it, when i would click the photo button to see the time, the screen would soon turn itself off (normal right?)

well now, (maybe after the update?) only when its docked at the media station, the screen doesn't time out. Anyone else have this issue? maybe i'm just a fool and there is a setting?

Under applications then development, there is an option to not power down if its plugged in.then again, I too have my screen stay on when it should time out. Just a software bug. I'm not to concerned with minor things like that until after 2.2 comes out.

Also the dock behaves differently based on the power supply.

Even without changing the screen option described above...

When using a wall charger, it does not blank the screen.

When using a USB cable to charge it does blank the screen.

The Wall charger is 850 Milli Amps I think and normal USB is 500 MilliAmp (IIRC).

Likely it is this amperage difference on the 5 volt rail which is triggering this different behavior.
