Is it ok to do a number of thing during one session in clockwork recovery? Or if there are several updates i need to do, should i reboot the phone between each one?

You should be able to flash a ROM, a theme, and a kernel all in one session.

It is possible to flash multiple files but you might bootloop or get stuck at the M if you flash a Rom and a theme at the same time. At least that is what happens with my phone

best to test each individual update before attempting to install another one. then if something goes wrong, you can at least pinpoint it

I have been known to flash a simple update.zip with an apk or two and then a kernel but as far as a whole ROM and then a theme and then a kernel all in one shot - as most have I would also advise against it
