read alot of bad reviews on the siedieo 2800 or 2600
Links? What were the problems stated?

This will have the same issues as the 2600 and 2800mah Seidio batteries but
have the red led low battery indicator flashing a day or two longer.
I'm wondering if those are the "problems" that the OP refers to.

The Motorola Droid firmware can only read up tp a 1400mah battery.
When a larger battery is installed like the Seidio 2600mah or the Mugen 3300mah
the phone will indicate a low battery and the red LED will start blinking
when it has used nearly 1400mah of the battery.
It doesn't recognized the the extra juice even though it will keep going until it's fully drained.

You can reboot the phone to reset the blinking LED but it will start blinking again
as the battery drains furthur.
The ONLY indicator to know when the battery is charged or nearly drained
in by downloading an app like Battery Left that reads mV "millivolts"
