MP3 Tagging...

So this isn't exactly directly related to android...

I have alot of Mp3s, some duplicates and mislabeled, etc.

Is there an app(for android or for the PC) that uses the same technology as Soundhound or Shazam to label the mp3s and tag them appropriately? I can put my entire collection on SD and let my phone go to town if there is an app out there.

Any ideas?

There's a lot of options...


I use "mixzing" premium (paid for it) for my droids, it has album art selection in settings. I use mediamonkey (on my PC) to handle my media libraries.

Winamp is a good media player, but I didn't find an album art download selection.

I currently checking out Power Amp, seems impressive but still checking it out!

iTag from infolife on the market. Also allows album art embedding onto the id3 tag. In other words, no need to store a separate "album art" folder on your sd card

Outstanding ideas. I bought Mediamonkey thinking it could remove duplicates but I didn't see any way for it to automatically weed out duplicate files. I just downloaded MusicBrainz Picard and it looks to be very powerful and might be able to solve my problems.
