Brand new to HTC one m8, great stuff.
I download alot of music from the likes of bandcamp, amazon etc..
I have just downloaded an album from bandcamp and its arrived at the "download" app,
How do i get that music from there to my music app?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum

The answer very much depends on the music app first and foremost. Some apps store the music in areas not normally accessible without being rooted. Also what type of music is it? I assume it;s in the download folder on your phone not your PC?

Thanks for the reply.

So I download a lot of music from bandcamp.

Before this phone I had a galaxy S3 and when I used to download music onto that it went into a folder already on the phone called "my folder". Then all I did was move that music from there to the music app.
But I can't fine anything like that on this phone.

Yes the music has downloaded to the download app on the phone.

Use a file manager to move your data around.

I prefer esfile explorer myself becuase it has a ftp client built into it so I can not only move files on the phone and off my pc via wireless but I can also move files from work/home/friends pc's back and forth.

But there are plenty of other ones out there to choose from.

I also use ES File Explorer exclusively. Mostly for the Bluetooth transfer.
