moving apps to /system/app/

    Alright so Ive already done this like 10 times before and never had a problem but now when I use root explorer to try to move helix launcher to /system/app/ it says I cant paste there because the file system is read only?? what changed?

    Im running Cyanogen 5.0.6.2 btw

    What file browser you using? Root Explorer? If so you just have to click the mount button at the top or it wont let you paste in a system folder... ps: you probably know but the system can fill up fast so keep in mind how much space you use...

    Is there any benefit of moving apps to /ststem/app ?
