not surprising at all...I think a lot of hollywood studios and people use torrents as much as the general public.

So is this a thing where everyone says it's bad because that is what everyone else is saying, despite the fact a lot of people do it?

Ie when people used tape recorders back in the day to record movies despite the fbi warnings. Yet blank tapes were sold, double set vcrs were sold, and bootleg movies could be seen being sold in the middle of the day out in broad daylight on a table laid out with labels that were photocopies of movie posters, and not one cop shut it down.
