move icons around within folder

I have a Droid 1 with stock os. Is there away to move icons around within a folder? Or just delete and reinstall?

I'm not sure if the stock will allow you to reorder. I use Apps Organizer (free in market) and apps in folders seem to alpha in some and random in others. What folder app are you using?

You can't change the order of stock folder items. They will be displayed in the order they were put in. Ran into this annoyance this first day I got the phone and I can't believe they still haven't fixed it. Fortunately there are a couple of apps out there to take care of this, like Apps Organizer listed above.

Well that just sucks. Apps organizer did not work out for me as I can't have contacts folder. And it still did not work as I hoped. Maybe 2.2
