I mounted my droid to my imac to get soem music onto it but i can not create any folders or change anything on my droid. It says I do not have permission to? How can I change he permissions to allow me to be able to edit things on my mounted droid?

Is it rooted or have you looked into rooting your Droid?

Rooting it isn't necessary to move files and create new folders. I have zero mac experience so I can't say what to try, but in windows my first suggestion would be to make sure the "read only" property was not enabled for the drive. If there's a mac equivalent, try that.
