M is available for pre-oredr tonite at 5PM Eastern. The Maxx/HD will be around the holidays
Did I hear wrong??? I swear he said that the hd's will come out of the box with jb and the other devices will soon follow.
Rechecking thos specs again I didnt even catch that they are the same specs with bigger batteries.
Aside from the Rzr M.
These phones have been in development before the acquisition, so they just can't scrap them. Expect to see Google's influence next year
unless im wrong....the 331ppi would put it over Apple's retina display right?
if so that gives it the best screen on the market....
Thank you Motorola and Verizon Wireless for the first ever anticlimactic product release, tepid reviews and lackluster sales to follow
I think the Rezound is still just over that... but once you're in that range (330's to 340's), I can't imagine it makes a big difference.
Myfear is that "before the holidays" = Dec. 24th
So it seems Motorola, at least with the Razr line, is making those that are interested in their phones, pay more to play more. Simply put, i expect the Razr HD to launch at $199 while the Razr HD Maxx to be at $299. Same phone. The only difference is a few more mah's.
I'm thinking just before or on Black Friday.
I swear there was an article on here a while back about Sammy or somebody developing a screen that finally beat the retina's pixel density. I know it wasn't Moto. Seems like a key advertising point to me in light of recent legal events
Well I know the Rezound had it beat quite awhile back - 342 ppi I believe.
Why is everyone saying the specs are the same?
Droid razr = 1.2ghz processor /1780maH battery/4.3in screen
droid razr hd = 1.5ghz processor /2500maH battery/4.7in HD screen
Not the same to me.
The max has double the onboard memory as well as a larger battery. My guess is hd @$199, maxx hd @ $249.99.
Sent from my DROID4
I think the comparison is between the Razr HD and it's big brother the HD Maxx.
ok so it is between the nexus and the rezound then.
And 1.2ghz OMAP 4430 to 1.5ghz S4 is a much bigger jump than 300mhz.
Cmon bring out the HD MAXX Droid 5 RAZR :icon_ banana:
ahh, in that case, it's only bigger battery and .9mm thinner.
OP Fully Updated Now. While I was developing the post, I added everything I could to make sure we didn't miss any details. The only other thing worth noting is that Motorola specifically made mention that they will be offering unlocked developer editions separately from now on to be able to bypass Verizon's restrictive nature.
