Just a couple days ago the soak test for the new Motorola update for the most current Droid series started its soak test. Interestingly, it either didn't last very long, or Motorola & Verizon just decided to start pushing it to everyone instead of the traditional soak test. The Motorola Droid Ultra, Mini and Maxx have already started receiving the newest Motorola Droid update which primarily includes some bug fixes and camera enhancements. Supposedly the new camera improvements do quite a bit including better sky detection, more accurate white balancing, and improvements to HDR. Additionally the exposure is now more consistent than before. Reports are filtering in that these changes are quite noticeable and make a fairly dramatic improvement for the phone on these devices.

Sound off if you are one of the lucky folks who already have the update on your device.

I don't think the version being released is the same version as the soak test version.
