I've done a forum search and I can't find anything that answers my question.

Is there any way to pull off battery data in 1% or even 5% increments on the motorola droid 1? Or is that built into the hardware reporting and the only way to hack is by hacking hardware (something I'm totally not willing to do)?

My gf has an lg ally and hers reports in 1%, I've seen a few screenshots of battery widgets here and in the marketplace of this so I know other phones do it too. Is it just a motorola thing?

There have actually been someone who has tried to do this (Skull_One), and he found out that there is a "rubber band" effect where the percentages go back and forth giving false readings. He said that the hardware performs almost TO well in the fact that it causes this to happen. I don't know if there is anything we can do to get it to work, so i think we are stuck with 10% increments.
