Just had a serious lesson learned with my new Droid RAZR.
tethered my Droid to PC with USB mass storage mode.
Motocast popped up and offered to synch.
Selected my photo destination folder.
Selected "from device"
Hit GO

And...... Wham!!!!! Every picture in my phone was deleted and lost.

I'm off reading the help file.

Going to revert to copy paste like before.
Any idea what I did wrong?
Of course all my iPhone buddies are giggling like schoolgirls. :(

Did you check the 'Remove items from device after importing' option? It's right under the 'Download to:' button when you select to sync photos from Device.

Nope the delete file box was not checked.incident occurred when I selected "cancel" after seeing a bunch of delete text flashing on the PC screen. All the jpg pics about 40; disappeared in 1_2 seconds but the mp4 movies did not get affected; all files in dcim directory.
I tried synch with single jpg file in dcim on phone.
With no cancel action and synch "from device" it spent about,10min to create a directory with 1 file inside. When I checked phone I found that Motocast also moved my music files from PC to phone even though this was not selected. It also created a copy of the PC target directory on the phone in a separate directory... very strange behaviour.
