And just FYI, you can still clear the system cache using the same procedure as it was on Nougat. That hasn't changed.

I never changed it. I think it's Launcher 3? Stock as far as I know.

If you never changed it, then it is stock

TxDoc...try clearing the cache for Launcher 3 in the App Settings menu. Then reboot your phone. Your launcher has the new icon shape option, it's just not showing because of a glitch.

When I'm on the phone, I keep hearing what I think are notifications beeping. I'm trying to turn that off.
Is that what I'm hearing?

is it a continuous beep or just one or two times then stop?

It seems to last the whole call, whether I initiate it or receive it, can be to a friend or ordering food. Seems to be on any call and repeated throughout. I'll try to get the specifics better.

That fixed it. After asking about deleting all apps' cache and saying I deleted the cache partition, I should've considered that might be a situation that clearing the cache of the app might help!

I hear it too on my Moto Z Force. For me, it's when my screen goes off while on a call, phone goes to sleep while on a call, a new notification while on a call, etc. It's annoying and new to Oreo (a bug maybe). There are a few threads for it on the Moto Forum also. So it's not just you TxDoc, or me. It's something weird with our Moto Z phones and Oreo 8.0
