Hello all. Well I'm sure this question is on the forum someplace but after about five pages of looking I gave up so here I go.

Okay so I got rid of my first Moto Droid and bought the Droid X. I am having a problem on this one setting up the Pop mail.

This is what I have. For incoming (which I may add works, I can receive email): pop-server.neo.rr.com, Port 110, my username and password.

For outgoing which doesn't work, I get the error " authentication error sending". My setting are: smtp-server.neo.rr.com, Port: 25, my username and password. Use secure connection NOT check and Verify Certificate NOT checked.

I had this working, the same setup I think on my original Moto Droid but for some reason can't get it on this one.

Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.

Try port 587 instead of 25, alot of companies use it for alt. auth, check secure connect button.

Well thanks for the suggestion but I still get the error " authentication error sending".
I am truly baffled.
